Wellnez.ai is designed with privacy at its core. Your camera feed is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

2. Information We Process

🔒 Your Data

Camera Video: Real-time webcam feed processed by MediaPipe AI models running in your browser. Used for face landmark detection, pose estimation, and hand tracking. Never recorded or transmitted.
Exercise Data: Scores, reps, accuracy metrics securely stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore.
Account Info: Name and email managed via Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security.
Settings & Preferences: Voice coaching, sound, streak data — synced securely across your devices.

📊 Anonymous Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

Which exercises are started, completed, or abandoned
Exercise scores and completion rates (no personal info attached)
General usage patterns to improve the Service
Device type and browser (standard analytics data)

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous. It cannot identify you personally.

3. Third-Party Services

Google MediaPipe: AI models for face, pose, and hand tracking. Models are downloaded to your browser and run locally. Google does not receive your camera data.
Google Analytics 4: Anonymous usage analytics. You can opt out by using a browser extension like "Google Analytics Opt-out."
Google Fonts: Font files loaded from Google's CDN.

4. Data You Control

You have full control over your data:

Clear exercise history from the History panel at any time
Revoke camera access from your browser settings
Delete all app data by clearing browser storage for this site
Disable voice coaching and sound effects from Settings

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): Set by Google Analytics 4 to understand usage patterns. Only loaded after you accept cookies. You can decline at any time.
Essential cookies: Firebase Authentication may store session data in your browser's IndexedDB/localStorage to keep you signed in. These are strictly necessary and do not require consent.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies. Your cookie preference is stored locally and you can change it by clearing your browser storage.

6. Children's Privacy

Wellnez.ai is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, security depends on your device's own protections. We recommend keeping your browser updated.
